Aanrader als je houdt van puur, vers, simpel en ongedwongen aan zee eten. We streken om 19u neer bij "LA CABANE". Werden hartelijk ontvangen (ook wel eens leuk in Frankrijk ). We bestelden door van alles aan te wijzen in de vitrine die vol ligt met verse zeevruchten. Zo kregen we onder andere tartaar van zalm en een tartaar van Sint Jakobsschelpen, grote garnalen, een halve krab en 18 kraakverse oesters. Mandje stokbrood erbij. Top! Geen opsmuk. Papieren borden. Simpel bestek. Zon op je gezicht en goed eten voor een goede prijs en service met een glimlach. Heel fijn en lekker. Binnen dit segment dus 5 sterren en een aanrader! Tip: er zijn een paar tafeltjes op een verhoging, als je daar zit hebt je zeezicht. Als je vooraf reserveert, vraag dan of je daar mag zitten.

Amazing seafood, great prices, lovely service. If you are not looking for an elaborate restaurant experience but just want to eat lovely fruits de mer (no options available for those who do not eat seafood) this is the place to come to. Highly recommend.

Authentic, fresh sea food sold by the fishermen wives straight up to the customer on the beach. The boats are just behind the shacks and you can see the fishermen tidying their nets. What you can buy depends entirely on the previous night's catch.
